Thailand (2017)
My friend Pak Ngah and I embarked on a week-long cycling adventure from HatYai to Phatthalung. Located in the southern region of Thailand, both cities offer beautiful landscapes and interesting cultural experiences.
We began our journey early in the morning, eager to make the most of the day. The first few hours were relatively easy, as we rode through scenic rice fields and small villages. We stopped frequently to take in the sights and sounds of rural Thailand, and even had the opportunity to chat with some of the friendly locals.
Each day, we would ride for several hours before stopping to rest and refuel at a local restaurant or guesthouse. We enjoyed delicious Thai food and cooled off with refreshing coconut water.
In the evenings, we would explore the cities and towns we passed through, immersing ourselves in the local culture. We visited temples and markets. Overall, cycling from HatYai to Phatthalung was an unforgettable experience. It allowed us to see parts of Thailand that we may not have otherwise visited, and gave us the opportunity to connect with the local community in a meaningful way. I would highly recommend this trip to any adventurous traveler looking for an authentic and active way to experience the beauty of Thailand.
